  • Milk – 2 cups
  • 4 egg yolks
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • All-purpose flour – 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Butter – 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla wafers
  • 4 egg whites
  • Sugar – 4 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cream of tartar – 1/4 teaspoon


Start by preheating the oven to 375° F. Take a baking dish and add a layer to vanilla wafers. Take a bowl and add flour, sugar, and salt. Mix well and keep it aside.
